Saudi Arabia holds the number one position as far as the export of petroleum is concerned. In 2008, Saudi Arabias GDP was $527 billion, 45% of this GDP come form petroleum sector. Saudi Arabia plays an important role in OPEC as it is the largest petroleum exporter. Entire economy is controlled by the Saudi government. In 2008 countrys annual growth rate was approximately 6.1%.2
