It was held in Concord Massachusetts. A high light for me was to spend sometime with Tom Green who recently published a new book “Bright Boys” that is the most complete description of the Whirlwind computer that I have seen so far. It covers the period 1938 to 1958 and has a foreword by Jay Forrester. It stresses the significant way in which Whirlwind changed the way we use computers and created the first networked group of computers.
