(2) awareness of the needs of different groups or cultures. (3) use and dependence on evidence-based research to inform the goals and curricula of the programmes. (4) community participation and buy-in. (5) positive mentoring experiences. (6) involvement of parents. and (7) situational policing and crime prevention to target crime hotspots (J.
