Thank you for your iterest in my book and your observation about Whirlwind. Yes you can still get a copy of the book by sending a check made out to Locust Press to me for $35. The M.I.T. reunion which Bill Wolf and I both attended was for two purposes. To formally turn over the Whirlwind archives that Mitre Corporation had all these years to M.I.T. The second purpose was to provide a reunion opportunity to those of us that had worked on Whirlwind. The date was selected by the committee to be the 50th anniversary of the last day that M.I.T. operated Whirlwind. I was aware as most others attending that Bill had obtained and operated Whirlwind after M.I.T. I autographed a copy of my book for Bill with an acknowledgement of that fact.

Would you give us a few words on Bill Wolf’s MIT, Whirlwind
and satellite scientific contributions? He is somewhat mute
other than dates and places. His NO “e” autobiography
lacks perspective other than the 9/25/1964 LIFE profile.
The administrators at our Watertown (NY) High School would like to commerate Bill’s career as an inspiration to students that their only limits are those self imposed.
